The book "International Sanctions, Export Control, and Compliance Programs", written by Antonio de Capoa and Dario Gorji Varnosfaderani, has been published by Wolters Kluwer.

International sanctions, countermeasures, boycotts, and other forms of international trade restrictions have become an emerging and impactful reality for European and Italian companies over the past two decades. It is in this context that European Union Recommendations No. 2019/1318 and No. 2021/1700 on Internal Compliance Programs, and the new so-called "dual use" Regulation No. 2021/821, which place new responsibilities on exporting companies, were conceived.

The book is aimed at companies to provide a comprehensive framework for export control, illustrating the main tools for adopting effective Compliance Programs tailored to business realities

In addition to providing guidelines for the adoption of Compliance Programs, the book provides a comprehensive guide on the controls that must be carried out before exporting.
